"Every friend was once a stranger"
Christoph Pehofer created a wonderful documentary about couch surfing. He needed an animated opening sequence in a specific style. From the first meeting I knew exactly what he meant.
I recruited Zohar Lee Katz and together in a span of around 3 weeks we created this semi realistic frame by frame animation.
It premiered in January 2019, in Hayden Kino Theater in Vienna, Austria, and was shown in many cinemas around Europe since then. There's also a DVD.
